Easiest Thanksgiving Festive Nails

By  |  5 Comments

Happy Thanksgiving! I thought I would add a quick nail art, easy and fabulous, for all those who spent more time in the kitchen lately than in the beauty parlor! And either way it’s ok, we each have our different lives and priorities – but it’s great if we can cover all areas, so why not paint your nails with an easy festive combo, perfect for Thanksgiving and more?

Red is always a great choice for special occasions and most of us, nailistas or not, keep at least a bottle of bright red nail polish in their beauty bag! Paint all your nails red. Let it dry. (my red is OPI’s Red Hot Rio, my all-time favorite red polish – I’ll soon run out of, so I’ll be saving what’s left of it for Christmas ^_^)

Now – what glitter topper you have is perfect! It doesn’t have to have a special color or a special consistency, grab it and think about what nails you’ll want to accentuate! Think outside the box – it doesn’t have to be the ring fingernail! It can be any nail! Any nail can be your accent! Even more than one or two nails! I did three this time! No special reason.

I chose a copper glitter, a beautiful, rich copper from Jordana and dipped my freshly painted finger in loose copper glitter. Because I had it on hand and the effect is amazing! But if you don’t have loose glitter, just layer more coats of glitter for an opaque finish! Silver, gold, blue, whatever glitter works great, believe me! The red steals the show anyway, the glitter is there just to make a beautiful, sparkly contrast for the festive occasion!

Seal it with generous coats of clear topcoat (if you have gel-like topcoat, better!), be careful to let it dry and you’re done, you can enjoy the party or the festive dinner! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who is celebrating and have a wonderful weekend to everyone who’s just having a normal Thursday, I hope you’ll keep this idea for the next party you’ll attend to!

I’m Cecilia and I love painting my nails so much that I decided to share my passion and all I’ve learned with you on my website.
